Job description

Drainage Engineer (Norwegian market)

Location: all of Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Working on infrastructure projects involving consulting, planning and detailed design within drainage, water, wastewater, and stormwater management;
  • Ensure projects adhere to environmental laws, water management policies, and Norwegian safety standards;
  • Preparing project drawings and models (BIM);
  • Perform quality control and documentation according to Sweco´s quality system;
  • Collaborating with our local engineers from multiple disciplines and contributing to the support and development of less experienced members of the team.

Our requirements:

  • Master’s degree in engineering;
  • Engineering experience in civil engineering (water and wastewater transport systems). We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 5 years to over 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BIM software;
  • Detailed design expertise in road or other relevant infrastructure projects, including stormwater design and culvert design;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Good to have: preparing rain and stormwater models for hydraulic calculations, GIS, ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, and NovaPoint software.
