Job description

Electrical Engineer (Switchyards)

Location: all of Poland

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 3 years to over 10 years of relevant experience in switchyards/power systems engineering.
• Proficiency in the area of specification of components, control, and protection systems integration.
• Being familiar with earthing and bonding design principles.
• Hands-on experience with gantries, isolators, busbars, and similar equipment.
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good to have: experience in SCADA.

Responsibilities:

• Working on electrical power distribution projects (10-132kV), in the Danish team to align project deliverables with client needs and regulatory requirements;
• Designing and implementing electrical distribution projects, with a focus on switchyard systems and advanced control and protection systems;
• Leading the design and specification of power system components, including gantries, isolators, busbars, and other key equipment;
• Providing input for the design of steel and concrete structures;
• Conducting comprehensive risk evaluations and developing mitigation strategies for all project phases;
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards for safety and efficiency.
