Job description
Electrical Engineer (Switchyards)
Location: all of Poland
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 3 years to over 10 years of relevant experience in switchyards/power systems engineering.
- Proficiency in the area of specification of components, control, and protection systems integration.
- Being familiar with earthing and bonding design principles.
- Hands-on experience with gantries, isolators, busbars, and similar equipment.
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Good to have: experience in SCADA.
Responsibilities:
- Working on electrical power distribution projects (10-132kV), in the Danish team to align project deliverables with client needs and regulatory requirements;
- Designing and implementing electrical distribution projects, with a focus on switchyard systems and advanced control and protection systems;
- Leading the design and specification of power system components, including gantries, isolators, busbars, and other key equipment;
- Providing input for the design of steel and concrete structures;
- Conducting comprehensive risk evaluations and developing mitigation strategies for all project phases;
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards for safety and efficiency.
