Job description
Geotechnical Design Engineer
Location: all of Poland
What type of projects you work with:
- Geotechnical investigations for all sorts of projects;
- Building foundations design;
- Energy infrastructure design;
- Construction pit design;
- Railway design;
- Road design;
- Port design.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of geotechnical site plans and longitudinal profiles;
- Develop and prepare geotechnical drawings using CAD software. This includes geotechnical site plans, longitudinal profiles, and construction drawings for various geotechnical structures, such as sheet piles and secant pile walls;
- Support the geotechnical team in the planning and execution of geotechnical investigations and project designs;
- Work with geotechnical databases like OpenGround, Holebase, or Gint to manage and interpret data effectively.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field;
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience;
- Software knowledge: Microstation, AutoCAD, Revit
- Experience creating geotechnical situation plans and longitudinal profiles;
- Experience working with both consultancy firms and contractors;
- Good to have: experience with geotechnical databases such as OpenGround, Holebase, or Gint, experience with handling and visualising geophysical investigation data, experience with construction drawings for various geotechnical structures, e.g., sheet pile walls and secant pile walls;
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
