Piping Stress Engineer

Location: all of Poland

Danish team:

200 000 to 500 000 homes in Denmark will be added to the district heating network over the next 6 years, which requires massive investments into new transmission and distribution lines as well as production facilities for green district heating. To be able to deliver these important projects

Responsibilities:

• Connecting the pipes, how it should be supported, what material it should be made of what wall thickness;
• Collaborate with other professionals to determine piping material specifications and equipment selection;
• Performs plant and piping design work across several engineering disciplines in the 3D integrated design systems;
• Prepare piping specifications including piping details and field changes;
• Review the process piping systems developed for the relevant code compliance related to stress, process and mechanical integrity;
• Ability to perform static and dynamic piping stress analysis.

Our requirements:

• +5 years of experience;
• Experience in pipe stress calculation, pressure, and thermal expansion;
• Experience with piping calculation software: Rohr2 / Caesar II / Caepipe / other;
• Nice to have: Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) calculations of steel structures; experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis;
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
