The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Structural Engineer (Parametric Design)

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations for building and industrial structures by using Robot Structural Analysis and IDEA StatiCa;
• Develop, maintain and update BIM models, with a strong focus on Revit;
• Ensure consistency between structural calculations and BIM models;
• Apply and further develop parametric design solutions within projects;
• Support the development of tools and solutions for the structural engineering department.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field;
• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong knowledge in both structural calculations (Robot Structural Analysis, IDEA StatiCa) and BIM modelling (Revit);
• Practical involvement in Parametric Design within engineering projects;
• Background in industrial structures and an understanding of their specific structural requirements and constraints;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
• Good to have: Tekla knowledge.
