The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Bridge Engineer
Kraków DC
Responsibilities:
- Design of bridges, tunnels and large scale infrastructure projects;
- Preparation of technical calculations, reports, and design documentation;
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers;
- Review of design drawings and technical specifications;
- Application of industry standards and best practices in bridges and tunnel.
What type of projects will you work with:
Infrastructure projects, bridges and tunnels.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in detailed structural design of reinforced concrete structures, including both new construction projects and rehabilitation/remodeling of existing bridges;
- Practical knowledge of structural engineering software such as Midas Civil / Mathcad / Robot Structural Analysis / IDEA StatiCa;
- Proven experience in Finite Element (FE) modeling and analysis;
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
