The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Hydraulic Modeller

Responsibilities:

• Be an integrated part of the Danish engineering team, actively participating in knowledge-sharing and internal meetings;
• Creating, reviewing, and approving hydraulic modeling documentation;
• Developing and analyzing hydraulic models MIKE (DHI), Scalgo, TUFLOW, InfoWorks or similar programs;
• Analyzing technical requirements and project data;
• Cooperation with a project team at all stages of the project implementation.

Our requirements:

• Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering / Water Resources Engineering / Environmental Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic modeling for infrastructure, water management, flood protection, or engineering projects;
• Practical experience with hydraulic simulations and model analysis;
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to Danish technical standards and workflows;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good to have: Mike, HEC-RAS.
