The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Junior Power Line Designer

Responsibilities:

• Working on availability analyses, feasibility studies, and route investigations and visualizations for transmission and distribution lines;
• Preparing design documentation in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards;
• Creating technical drawings, calculations, and other supporting design materials;
• Modeling transmission and distribution networks using dedicated 2D and 3D software;
• Performing internal coordination tasks as instructed by the Designer, Team Leader, or Project Manager;
• Participating in technical meetings, site visits, and business trips related to the assigned tasks.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Previous experience in a similar position is not required, however, any relevant experience will be considered an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of CAD software;
• High level of commitment, ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills;
• Creativity, technical imagination, and strong analytical thinking skills;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good to have: industry-related experience, swedish and/or german language.
