It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Job description
BIM Engineer
Location: all of Poland
Responsibilities:
- Experience a relevant position as a BIM Engineer. We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 3 years to over 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field;
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures, drawing, and modeling in 3D. structural design;
- Experience from infrastructure projects preferably reinforcement and concrete structures;
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- Interest in the BIM/VDC area and willing to learn new software constantly;
- Good to have: Grasshopper/Rhino, AutoCad, ProjectWise, programming skills (Python, SQL, C#, VBA etc.).
Our requirements:
- 3D-model model construction of new bridges/tunnels, typically concrete or steel structures, occasionally timber/wood;
- Extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models and completion of these to be used as “approved for construction”. Similarly for repair works on concrete and steel bridges;
- Drawing set-up according to project/client specifications (standards) in a ProjectWise environment;
- Leading the development and implementation of BIM processes specific to the construction;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in BIM workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
