The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Junior BIM Engineer (Buildings)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing general arrangement, 3D models and detailed drawings of civil structures at all stages of the project, supporting the development of construction design documentation;
  • Collaborative work with digital initiatives, parametric design, task automation, and digital twin;
  • Understanding design and engineering solutions based on sketches and outline/concept drawings;
  • Supporting the development and implementation of BIM processes specific to construction projects, with the opportunity to grow into a BIM Coordinator role;
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in BIM workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions.

What type of project will you work with:

Both new construction and renovation projects within residential buildings, schools, daycare institutions, sports and cultural facilities, commercial buildings, and office buildings. Civil structures – concrete, steel, and timber construction.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • 1+ years experience in BIM modelling and preparation of construction design documentation within the engineering or construction industry;
  • Working experience within Autodesk Revit;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Good to have: familiar with HVAC or electrical projects.
