Job description
Geotechnical Engineer (Hydrogeology)
Location: all of Poland
Responsibilities:
- Lead the geotechnical design process for various projects, including the creation of detailed design drawings, execution descriptions, and control reports;
- Design and implement hydrogeological models using software such as MODFLOW for applications including the dewatering of excavation pits;
- Developing and reviewing geotechnical investigation reports (GIRs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations;
- Analyzing data and modeling geotechnical problems related to soil and rock mechanics;
- Conducting risk assessments for onshore and offshore geotechnical conditions;
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field;
- 8+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering with a strong focus on hydrogeological design and modelling;
- Proficiency in hydrogeological modelling software such as MODFLOW;
- In-depth knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, practices, and analysis methods;
- Experience in specifying and interpreting advanced laboratory tests for geotechnical purposes;
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in mentoring and team collaboration;
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
