The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Job description

Structural Engineer (Buildings)

Location: all of Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of structural documentation and structural calculations;
  • Design of load-bearing structures;
  • Preparing project materials in all phases of the project;
  • Design and modelling of building projects by using FEM modelling, Computational design, and/or BIM methodology;
  • Close collaboration with suppliers for static documentation, advising and guiding customers, including supervision and project follow-up;
  • Coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

What type of project will you work with:

We work with both new construction and renovation projects within residential buildings, schools, daycare institutions, sports and cultural facilities, commercial buildings, and office buildings. Civil structures – concrete, steel, and timber construction.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
  • 5+ years of professional experience in calculating primary structural elements of building – expertise with both renovation and new construction is an advantage.
  • Advanced level in Robot structural Analysis/Strusoft FEM Design/MathCAD, other FEM programs;
  • Materials expertise with concrete, steel, and preferably prefabricated concrete elements and foundations;
  • A solid understanding of static principles and their application in engineering;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Good to have: Revit knowledge, modelling of constructions, skills within computational design, programming skills in Grasshopper for parametric modelling of construction.
