It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
GIS Specialist (Transport Planning)

Responsibilities:
- Supporting transport and mobility projects through GIS, spatial and data analysis;
- Work with spatial, traffic, mobility, and transport network data, including cleaning, structuring, analysing, and preparing datasets;
- Carry out GIS analysis using QGIS and/or ArcGIS, ensuring accurate and reliable spatial outputs;
- Prepare clear and visually strong maps, diagrams, reports, tender materials, and other project documentation;
- Support the preparation of technical reports, tenders, proposals, and client-facing materials, ensuring that technical information is presented clearly and professionally;
- Collaborate with colleagues on traffic, transport, mobility, and transport planning studies and analyses;
- Apply a practical, structured, and analytical approach to project work, ensuring accurate and high-quality deliverables.
What type of projects will you work with?
You will support transport planning and mobility projects in Denmark, working with spatial and transport-related data to analyse traffic, mobility, and transport networks. Your work will combine GIS and data analysis with the preparation of maps, diagrams, reports, and tender materials that support transport and infrastructure studies.
Our requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in GIS, data analysis, transport planning, traffic engineering, mobility, or a related field;
- Strong practical experience with GIS (QGIS and/or ArcGIS) and experience working with transport, traffic, mobility, or network data;
- Good skills in data handling and analysis, including strong Microsoft Excel skills, with a practical and structured approach to work;
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and visually strong maps, diagrams, reports, and project documentation;
- Background in transport, civil engineering, geography, GIS, urban planning, data analytics, or a related field;
- Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken;
- Good to have: Experience with Power BI, Python, R, or SQL, as well as graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop.
