At Sweco IT, we are looking for a skilled .NET developer who wants to contribute to building sustainable digital solutions that make a real impact on society. You will be part of a forward-thinking team, working with modern technologies to develop robust, scalable applications that support our business across Europe.

As part of the Application Development Team (approx. 20 people), you will design and develop internal applications, APIs, and AI-based services. The team works with a microservice architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and close collaboration between developers, architects, and product stakeholders.
Together, we build tools that support daily work for thousands of Sweco colleagues. You will work remotely with a team primarily based in Sweden, with the option to work from Sweco offices in Poland.

.NET Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET;
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React;
• Write high-quality code that is efficient, scalable, and easy to maintain;
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices;
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed;
• Utilize Azure Devops for continuous integration and deployment;
• Work with containers (e.g. Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes);
• Collaborate with architects and product stakeholders to design and implement robust scalable solutions;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in .NET software development;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and MS SQL Server and expercience working with React;
• Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar tool for continuous integration and deployment and working with containers (e.g. Docker), container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes);
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, architects, and product stakeholders;
• Focus on clean, maintainable code and attention to quality.
