The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Road Designer (Sweden)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of complex road and highway projects of all sizes on Swedish market;
• Oversee preparation of layouts, alignments, profiles, and detailed design documentation;
• Design a variety of road engineering projects from conception through to completion;
• Prepare road design documentation by project requirements and standards;
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
• Proven experience in road engineering. We have several open positions and we are open to all experience levels, ranging from 5 years to 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar position;
• Advanced proficiency in road design tools like Civil 3D and AutoCAD;
• Expert understanding of relevant standards;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment;
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
