The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Structural Engineer (Pharma)

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the detailed design phase of various pharma building projects, from underground structures to steel-framed industrial buildings;
  • Perform static calculations and structural analysis for concrete structures, including both in-situ and precast elements;
  • Develop detailed structural designs in accordance with Eurocodes and ensure full compliance with current regulations;
  • Conduct advanced foundation calculations and design, including direct foundations and pile systems;
  • Ensure all structural designs meet the stringent safety and regulatory standards of the pharmaceutical industry.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field;
  • 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on static calculations and the design of concrete structures (preferably including both in-situ and precast elements);
  • Proficiency in structural calculation software, such as Autodesk Robot;
  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes and ensure that all structural designs comply with current regulations;
  • Great knowledge in foundation calculations and design (Direct foundation, piles, etc.)
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Good to have: Tekla, Revit knowledge, experience on projects within the pharmaceutical / industry / energy or other highly regulated industries.
