It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Responsibilities:

  • Design steel and reinforced concrete structures including develop conceptual and detailed designs;
  • Understanding of stability calculations for overhead towers, determining minimum size requirements;
  • Support assessment of existing structures (inspection, load capacity verification, reinforcement recommendations);
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and provide engineering support during construction and installation phases;
  • Possess an advanced understanding of statics and structural mechanics to ensure the stability and safety of designed structures;

What type of projects do you work with:

The Swedish Transition team is involved in designing new overhead transmission power lines ranging from 70 kV to 400 kV, including feasibility studies, as well as upgrading and refurbishing existing lines. The main clients are Swedish power grid companies.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical engineer, Electrical engineering or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in Structural engineering and design for overhead transmission lines or similar structures;
  • Familiar within designs software RFEM/FEM-Design/Robot/STAAD;
  • Proficiency in 2D or 3D softwares like Tekla/Inventor/Microstation/Autocad;
  • Knowledge of the European standard EN 50341;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
