The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Traffic Planner

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various traffic and mobility studies to create documentation for detailed development plans, structural plans, planning programs, and more;
  • Integrate urban design principles into traffic analysis and street layout concepts;
  • Use traffic, mobility, and spatial data, mobility trends, and policy frameworks to inform design decisions;
  • Prepare plans, maps, diagrams, visualisations, and documentation for internal and public communication;
  • Use GIS tools and spatial data to support traffic and mobility analysis.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Traffic Planning, or related field;
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in public transport integration, sustainable mobility strategies, traffic or streets planning;
  • Strong understanding of urban street design principles and traffic safety;
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, Python, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as GIS, QGIS;
  • Good ability to work with and analyse traffic, mobility, and spatial data;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken). You should ideally have strong written Polish skills, so we can translate into Danish using AI.
  • Good to have: experience working in the Scandinavian market.
